Julia Csekö: This is where my heart is runs from 4/21/2023 - 05/30/2023. The exhibition is an amalgamation of the artist’s disparate explorations and paradigm-shifting work. As a Brazilian conceptual artist, Csekö shares with us parts of her transnational identity through geometric and text-based paintings, plush infinity symbols and hearts, a metal fork sculpture used in a video about societal appetite, as well as a series of flags. All of this work, whether joyous or critical forms the basis for understanding the equilibrium and sometimes apocalyptic nature of humanity.
