This year is the 2nd Annual Art Dash, a one-night-only event created to directly provide support to New England visual artists from sales of their work. All works are priced at $100 and exhibiting artists will receive 100% of the proceeds from their sales. Due to social distancing guidelines, this year’s evening event will be entirely online (although a daytime in-person preview is planned for 12-5:30 at Beacon Gallery on the 19th)
The event will begin on Saturday, December 19th at 6pm with a viewing of the artwork. All attendees will receive the link and make their purchases from 6:30 on.
Art Dash features work by emerging, mid-career, and established New England based artists including:
Nathaniel Burks, Julia Dwyer, Steven Edson, Susan Emmerson, Lillian Favreau, Alexandra Guirette, Hilary Hanson Bruel, Denise Heintze, Charles Horey, Anya Leveille, Joni Lohr, Qiuyuhong Liu, Matt Mckee, Elaine McMichael, Cristina Rosa Nelson, Laura Petrovich-Cheney, Ponnapa Prakkamakul, Nancy Rich, Chloe Sailor, Sharon Schindler, Nicci Sevier-Vuyk, Chana Snyder, Joney Swift, Fleur Thesmar, Robyn Thompson-Duong, Stephanie Van Riet and Sharon Whitham.
The exhibition was juried by Christine O’Donnell and Jessica Burko, Program Manager and Curator, Photographic Resource Center Boston. Art Dash is sponsored by Beacon Gallery, Babe Wine, Goose Island Beer, as well as the Aquitaine Group.
