Beacon Gallery invites you to a virtual fundraiser for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on August 18th at 7 pm. The event will feature Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey, Makeeba McCreary, artist and activist Rob "ProBlak" Gibbs, and Mixed Messages artists Diana Weymar (Tiny Pricks Project), and Caron Tabb.
The evening's speakers will discuss the intersection of arts and politics. How can the emotional, visual language of art counterbalance the current negative political discourse to inspire change?

About The Tiny Pricks Project
Tiny Pricks Project was started in 2018 to protest the language and policies of the Trump presidency. Over 3,500 pieces hand-stitched by participants from around the world are creating the AIDS Quilt of our time. This protest has created a space, especially during the pandemic, for people to create, resist, connect, and document for the purpose of accountability. Since Jan. 2019, the project has included inspiring quotes to transition us into new leadership.
