Artist Workshops at Beacon Gallery

Don't miss your chance to attend the inaugural series of workshops for Artists, focused on writing and marketing.

Created and run by Beacon Gallery's owner Christine O'Donnell, these seminars offer concrete and practical skills and documents that every artist should have.

Learn them from someone in the art business with a Master's in Teaching from Tufts University and almost 10 years of classroom experience.

The Writer's Workshop on Wednesday November 6th will go through the following topics:

Writing an Elevator Pitch

Writing an Artist Statement

Writing a Resume /CV

Writing a Proposal

You will have time to work on your own elevator pitch, statement and resume during the workshop.

The 13th is focused on marketing and sales and will cover:

What is marketing for artists? As well as: strategies for pricing artwork, working with galleries and other ways to get art on walls, and social media.

November 20th is the "Executive Session" there will be no "workshop" time to work on any writing, but all the information from the two previous sessions will be covered.

There are ONLY 8 SPACES available each evening.

Tickets to attend are $20 per session. Sorry there are no cancellations or refunds, although you can transfer your ticket to someone else.
